Hemant Choudhary is an Indian actor, He also works in the Hindi film industry. He was born on 6th May 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His debut movie name is Yeh Dillagi, Directed by Naresh Malhotra, Produced by Yash Chopra.

Hemant Choudhary has been part of a number of TV shows in recent years, but the pandemic prompted him to try his luck in other mediums. And now he is glad to have moved on to Bollywood and OTT. Hemant, who has acted in shows like Siya Ke Ram, Jhansi Ki Rani, and Thapki Pyaar Ki among others, says, “I started my acting career in 1997 with the film Border, but later got into TV and did a number of projects. In the last two years, I did a lot of introspection and decided to go all out. So, in that sense, the pandemic helped me in my career.”

He adds, “Even before the pandemic hit, I was feeling exhausted and there was that fatigue of doing TV shows back-to-back. In the last 10 years, I felt there was no growth in me. TV gives you financial security, but there’s no growth as an actor.”

Hemant’s last TV show was Namah Lakshmi Narayan (2019) and now he is focusing on the projects he has bagged on other mediums. He says, “My focus has completely changed now and I want to do meaningful roles. Having said that, it’s not like I do not want to do a TV show at all. That’s my bread and butter, so I will continue with that. But at the same time, I want to do other work as well. I hope to get work which satisfies the actor within me.”
